Can't Get Ahead Songtext

Working hard trying to get ahead. But it seems like I'm moving backwards instead. No matter what I do, it seems to get worse. For every step forward, there's ten in reverse. Hard work pays, at least that's what everyone says. But I try, I can't, I can't get ahead
