Circuit Sunsets Songtext
Songtext powered by LyricFind
I kept an eye on animals passing through long waving grass in a motion mush like dance.I threw my shoes on a telephone line where laces intertwine by a dark wood's soft romance.
And when the wind caught up with me I couldn't leave for certainly the people would come out and rain would fall.
"We all look like we've been rained on, we all live like we feel. We all love like the rain it makes us grow."
The sun had begun to sink past the earth as the grass and the dirt carried feet as the people gathered.
The lanterns glow as though they are chariots racing through black outer space. Dancing bodies, arms outstretched...
and when the mayor he greeted me and he led my hand to where strangers stand so tall unphased by rain that would fall while we dance.
We all look like we've been rained on, we all live like we feel. We all love like the rain it makes us grow.
We all listen to the sound of circuit sunsets that surround us. We're all waiting for the rain to clear the sky.
I'm made of pine and glue.
I was designed for you.
