As I was driving along the other day
I saw a dead thing on the side of the street
It wasn't mangled or bloody or anything
Just kinda laying there holding up it's feet
And that made me laugh
It really made me laugh
I got to thinking about that dead thing
A couple of questions ran through my mind
Like where was it going to?
What was on the other side?
