Human Error (Early Version) Songtext
Songtext powered by LyricFind
I went off to work, like it was just another day
Slaving my ass for a little bit of pay
I got into the car, and I was on my way
I guess the lord didn't hear me when I tried to pray
Cause they put me in charge of cutting up the meat
It was a rush job, and I never thought to think
And before I knew it, plain as anyone could see
My index finger got caught in the machine
Human error, and it cost me of it's use
Slaving my ass for a little bit of pay
I got into the car, and I was on my way
I guess the lord didn't hear me when I tried to pray
Cause they put me in charge of cutting up the meat
It was a rush job, and I never thought to think
And before I knew it, plain as anyone could see
My index finger got caught in the machine
Human error, and it cost me of it's use
And all the long, hard years subject to the abuse
Of a day-by-day life where I depended on it's help
Now it only exists in a picture on the shelf
A couple days later, I was still wrapped up
I looked at my hand, and I knew that I was fucked
That's when I noticed something strange in my barbecued pork
And I jabbed it three times with my special fork
Just to make sure it wasn't an overcooked penis
Or something else from mars, or maybe even venus
But on closer inspection, all I could do was scream
It was a mutilated finger, full of gangrene
Human error, and it cost me of it's use
And all the long, hard years subject to the abuse
Of a day-by-day life where I depended on it's help
Now it only exists in a picture on the shelf
I went off to work, like it was just another day
Hoping that maybe things would be okay I got into the car, and I was on my way
Then the union called, and wanted me to explain
Cause they put me in charge of cutting up the meat
It was a rush job, and I never thought to think
That when my finger got caught in the fucking machine
The first place it'd go would be the fucking meat
Human error, and it cost me of it's use
And all the long, hard years subject to the abuse
Of a day-by-day life where I depended on it's help
Now it only exists in a picture on the shelf
Of a day-by-day life where I depended on it's help
Now it only exists in a picture on the shelf
