I Will Never Take This For Granted Songtext
Songtext powered by LyricFind
i was one of the lucky ones got away from pickup trucks and minumum wage but what about the people left behind those who were told and believed their only options were a uniform and a gun or even worse a uniform and a deep fryer resentment and hatred inherited at birth engrained in life reinforced by peers i was one of the lucky ones got away from trailer parks and broken down dreams but what about the people left behind those who will always believe their only options are bowed heads and clenched fists anger bottled and exported at cost shackled to the ghosts of broken down dreams trapped in prisons they built for themselves it's a lie (despair) if i ever come here again remind me to pack a bit of noise and light to drive off the sounds of complete removal and keep some footing in the face of abject fear it is so easy to forget that other world and slip into some sort of waking death it is a lie
