Punk Life (Juicy) Songtext
Songtext powered by LyricFind
It was all a dream
I used to read Thrasher Magazine
Punk bands blowin up on the rock scene
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Gilman Street taking over for baseball
I let my tape rock til my tape popped
Smokin cigarettes warmin' up in the parking lot
Way back whe I got my leather jacket back-with the tat to match
Remember Rappin' Duke Da-ha Da-ha?
Ya never thought punk rock would make it this far
Time to get paid, get us up on a bigger stage
And if you don't know, now you know
You know very well who you are
Don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars
I went from nothing but a stupid kid,
To starting a punk band with my friend Nick
Playin' shows, with mad ho's, tippy-toes,
puttin' pins up in all our clothes
and then I think back on those times
when everthing was alright
I think back on those times
When all I knew was punk life
Super Nintendo Sega Genesis
I remember when Punk was about bein' pissed
We're not fine, not kind, in this nation of hate crime
It's time to decide to be friends or to die
Cause now I'm in my own band with my own fans
I used to read Thrasher Magazine
Punk bands blowin up on the rock scene
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Gilman Street taking over for baseball
I let my tape rock til my tape popped
Smokin cigarettes warmin' up in the parking lot
Way back whe I got my leather jacket back-with the tat to match
