I gave up all illusions facing truth and reality
but I guess that this was too much, much too much to take for me
now I`m travelling through confusion, nothind there that I could change
I was just a young believer, boy this old world sure is strange

I wipe the night out of my eyes, I can still hear the lies
that were told going through the other days
