Sharks are big and sharks are scary
Sharks make me feel extremely wary
But I don't care
I still swim in the sea

They can eat you without any hassle
But I don't really want this to happen
So I swim away
I swim back to shore
And that's why I don't go to the seaside
No, I hide inside a shell so you can't see
And now nostalgia waves goodbye

In my dreams they walk on their fins
And I'm standing on my toes like pins
It's not just the pain I fear
It's the first glimpse of its awful stare

So I just close my eyes
And I look away

They are probably really friendly
It just takes a while
But I still want to just swim a mile
