Winter Night Songtext
Songtext powered by LyricFind
It never snows without putting up a fight.
And the fight was over by close to midnight.
Majestically shimmering in it's late flight;
It beheld you and I, such a curious sight.
Without much notice, it fell to the ground.
And was soon joined by its brothers and sisters, all without a sound.
I suddenly realized there was white all around.
And for a moment I thought it was a new world I had found.
The roofs had a blanket,
The grass had been smothered.
It always stops snowing without much of a fight.
And, sorry to say, the snow had given up by the end of the night.
By 3 a.m. all the roads had been covered,
And the fight was over by close to midnight.
Majestically shimmering in it's late flight;
